ArtSea Living, owned and operated by Barb Lentz since 2003, has held regular, in-studio art classes for both children and adults in mediums such as: clay.
There will be different exercises that facilitate learning in mainly colour as well as tone, form, texture and composition. Each student will find more solutions to their painting dilemmas.
Students will learn how to create an underpainting using an image as a reference point to go beyond this image allowing for more possibilities to manifest in their work. Students will begin their painting journey with a process that facilitates working in layers, where different skills can be gained with each layer – using a range of techniques. Rob has also mentored many tattoo artists and piercers throughout his long career.Īn interesting fact about Rob is that he loves to maintain Bonsai Trees which are a lifelong dream of his and on occasion pick up a guitar ( here at Tattcare we hope he’s learning some Deftones haha ). Rob covers a wide range of tattoo styles and never tries to limit himself on what he can do, which has ultimately led him to be a well-rounded artist willing to take on any challenge that walks through his door. Originally from South Africa, his family moved to NZ more than a decade ago. Rob has over 24 years of experience and runs two successful studios based out of Glendene, Auckland and his newly formed studio in Browns Bay.
